On Wednesday, Tiger Shroff turns 32 years old. Wishes from all over the world poured on him. He earned a lot of fame in his brief career. Now people just recognize him because of being a son of Jackie Shroff, now he himself is a big personality like his father.

But do you know that the name ‘Tiger’ by which we know him is not his real name?

On March 2, 1990, the actor was born to Ayesha Shroff and actor Jackie Shroff. He is recognized for his action scenes and dance abilities. His parents called him Jai Hemant Shroff when he was born, but he became known in the film business as Tiger.

The actor explained how he got to be recognised by this unique name rather than his real name, Jai in one of his interviews back in 2019.

Tiger claimed in a May 2014 interview that the name came from people comparing him to a tiger due to his tendency of biting. He explained, “I used to bite as a kid … like bite everyone around.”

The actor revealed that one of his victims was a teacher from his school. He remembered by saying, “I bit my teacher in school, and even got punished for that.”

Tiger made his Bollywood debut with Heropanti in 2014, and he is now filming the sequel to the action picture. He will star alongside Tara Sutaria in Heropanti 2, which is set to hit theatres on April 29.
