In an interview with Mumbai Mirror in 2017, when she was asked the same question Tabu had told the truth. She stated “Ajay and I have known each other for 25 years. He was my cousin Sameer Arya’s neighbour and close buddy, a part of my growing up years and that has laid the foundation of our relationship. When I was young, Sameer and Ajay would spy on me, follow me around, and threaten to beat up any boys who were caught talking to me. They were the big bullies and if I am single today, it is because of Ajay. I hope he repents and regrets what he did.”
Ajay and Tabu had known each other for more than decades. Both have also worked in many films together. Their wholesome chemistry also seems apparent through their performances and bond. Both of them have even appeared in multiple talk shows, which have showcased a pure connection of friendship among the actors.
Ajay Devgn also posted a Story on Instagram on account of Tabu’s birthday. It was an old video wherein the actors were seen taking a car ride together. He captioned the story by writing, “Sometimes behind the wheels, sometimes behind the screen but it’s always an adventure. Happy Birthday @tabutiful.”
