Thalapathy Vijay has already made a monumental disclosure that is sure to lift the spirits of his loyal followers to celestial heights. His supporters are already giddy with anticipation for the highly anticipated film Leo, directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj.
The Tamil actor revealed on Twitter that Venkat Prabhu, who is known for directing blockbuster films like Chennai 600028 (2007), Saroja (2008), Goa (2010), Mankatha (2011), and Maanaadu (2021), would be directing his next feature film.
Vijay shared a 78-second clip with the names of key crew members from the movie as part of the announcement. The movie, tentatively titled Thalapathy 68, will be produced by Kalpathi S. Aghoram for AGS Entertainment. Prabhu will write the narrative. For the movie, renowned musician Yuvan Shankar Raja will compose the soundtrack.
According to an exclusive tweet from the tollywood publication ‘Filmy Focus,’ Thalapathy Vijay’s film with Venkat Prabhu will be his final one as an actor. After the film’s completion, Vijay is prepared to enter full-fledged politics in the run-up to the 2026 Tamil Nadu legislative assembly elections, which was further revealed by the publication.
