The actress, according to the Bombay Times, has left Mumbai and is reportedly on her way to the Himalayas. She rented out her Mumbai apartment to cover her travel and living expenses. She informed the news outlet that she will take sanyaas in February 2022. She is presently on pilgrimage and has volunteered to assist people in need.
She claimed that since she had been practising adhyatm and had a natural inclination towards spirituality, it was only a matter of time before she fully committed herself to it. In addition, Nupur made it clear that she was not “emotionally upset and bored of life” when she made this choice and that she thought one didn’t have to be depressed to follow a spiritual path.
“Thanks to my time spent at CINTAA (Cine and TV Artistes Association), where I served as a committee member and led health courses, I was fortunate to encounter the ideal guru, Shambhu Sharan Jha. My life was revolutionised when it put me in touch with my guru and another master healer” She said.
The actress claimed that she no longer missed acting and that drama had no place in her life now. “She said, “I am done with all the pretence and falsehood that we use both on and off the screen. After the death of my mother in December 2020, I realised that I no longer felt threatened by loss. I had no obligations or obligations, and I felt free. In reality, the Taliban’s takeover of Afghanistan caused my brother-in-law (Kaushal Agarwal) to be stranded there, delaying my sanyaas.” According to reports, Nupur has survived thanks to her modest way of living, which includes just owning four pieces of clothes and a pair of slippers, as well as one raw papaya and one apple every day.
