It remained at the top of the list for the following two weeks. This week, it took the top spot once again. A total of 13 of Taylor’s albums have held the top spot for up to 66 weeks.
With 13 albums to her credit, Swift has spent 66 weeks at the top of the charts, the second-most of any solo artist and only one behind Elvis Presley’s 67. With 132 weeks, The Beatles are the overall champions.
Sales of Taylor Swift’s 1989 (Taylor’s Version) album this year surpassed the previous high set by the original version’s 2014 release. 1989 (Taylor’s Version), according to Billboard, also earned the biggest album debut ever. Since Adele turned 25 in 2015, unit sales have been used to determine this.
