One of the most popular shows of the Television, ‘Tarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashma’ has been making headlines in an utter controversy since the lead actor of the eponymous story has been replaced with a new “Tarak Mehta” instead of the most loved actor Shailesh Lodha who had won millions of hearts, accolades and acclaims in his career walking in the shoe of the magnum opus character of his life “Tarak Mehta”.
The makers of Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah recently introduced Sachin Shroff as the new “Tarak Mehta” of the show eliminating the former one. While on the other hand, Shailesh also took to his social media handle, to pen on dishonesty and ego at around the same time.
No precise reason for this replacement was observed priorly. A bulk of audiences manifested disgrace and rage upon this sudden decision as the masses were too annoyed to accept the change. But it’s when the original Tarak Mehta Shaliesh Lodha took a step forward to write an indicative note, and has been assumed to indirectly subject to a foul play to be the thing behind the scene, and leveled up the existing vexation.
The original Taarak Mehta titlted Shailesh Lodha wrote, “एक ताज़ा व्यंग्य कविता मेरा ही चेहरा सब से बड़ा हो यार तुम कितने असुरक्षित और डरे हो परिभाषा तक नहीं जानते ईमान की इतनी बार अपना कहा बदलते हो कीमत तो पता ही नहीं ज़ुबान की अगर तुम में आत्मा होती तो पूछता क्या कभी उसे टटोला था वैसे एक सवाल ज़रूर है आख़री बार तुमने सच कब बोला था? #शैलेशकीशैली.”
Well, if it was an indication of a foul play behind the satirical poem is still a question but the timing says perhaps, there predominantly lies a probability of two of the incidents to have a cause-effect relationship to each other. Peradventure, things have gone too bitter between producer Asit Modi and Shailesh Lodha.
The Internet was swift to decipher the inner turmoil and most of the people felt the same. An user “Har Baar Aapka Kavita Padhke Mujhe Aisa Kyuu lagta hai Ki Aap Asit Modi Sir Ko Hi Indirectly yeh bol rahe ho(Whenever I read your poems I feel that you are saying all this indirectly to Asit Modi).”
It is actor Sachin Shroff who was newly introduced on the show two days ago, in a conversation to ETimes TV, shared his reaction on playing the character.
“I will try my best to fit into the shoes of this famous character of Taarak Mehta. Jis Tarah se paani mein shakar ghul jaata hai swaad anusar waise hi I will try my best to do justice to the role. I just want to request everyone to keep continuing to love our show and shower their blessings,” he said.
Tarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashma is a sitcom broadcasted at the channels Sony Sub TV, Sony Pal and Sony LIV.
