“It would be Sridevi, ma’am. I think she was super iconic, and she’s somebody I always admired,” said Tamannaah in a conversation with IANS.

The late actress, who was often described as India’s first female superstar, broke several stereotypes as she portrayed wide range of characters across diverse genres, from comedy to drama.

Throughout her career, who spanned for over 50 years, Sridevi has worked in wide range of genres in Telugu, Tamil, Hindi, Malyalam, and Kannada language films.

Some of the most memorable films on her filmography would be Mr. India, Sadma Himmatwala, Khuda Gawah, Laadla, Judaai, and English Vinglish, to name a few.

She was last seen in Mom, a crime thriller, released in 2017. The actress had played a vigilante who set out to avenge her stepdaughter after she is sexually assaulted at a party.

Meanwhile, speaking of Tamannaah, she will be soon seen in Odela 2, which is a sequel to 2022 Telugu film Odela Railway Station.
