BollywoodLife had a conversation with Taha Shah regarding his involvement in the series and his collaboration with Sanjay Leela Bhansali.

He was asked what is the best and more difficult part about working with Sanjay Leela Bhansali. He said, “The best thing about working with Mr. Bhansali is the kind of institution he is. He never leaves anything on chance. He has a vision and he never goes for ‘ha ye frame chalta hai’. He will make sure that things come out the way they are planned exactly. The shoot will not happen unless he gets what he wants. He has got the benefit of being the greatest director of India and that is why he gets the liberty of doing what he has thought which is the best thing to do. So the best part about working with him is that you constantly keep learning.”

He further spoke about the most difficult part and said, “He is a perfectionist himself and we all as actors, technicians want to put our best foot forward. So, the difficult part is to try and match up to him which is impossible. Nobody can match up to Mr. Bhansali. He breathes cinema and his oxygen is cinema. So we newbies always try to become 10% of what he thinks we can become.”
