Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah is one the longest running shows on Indian Television. Telecasting on Sab TV at 8:30pm, this show has garnered a huge fan-base. Interestingly, this show is soon going to complete its 12years and the excitement of the cast is cloud nine. Amid Coronavirus pandemic, every shoot was ceased but now, after the imposition of Unlock phase 1.0, entertainment industry is gearing back to its phase by starting all the shootings again.

Although there were no new episodes being aired, netizens were joyful and stable after watching the re-telecast of the old episodes. This show has truly earned an evergreen badge for itself because of the love netizens poured on show by watching old episodes happily.

In an exclusive conversation with TOI, Dilip Joshi who has been wowing everyone as Jethalal opened up about resuming shoots, missing the sets during the lockdown and the show finally clocking the 12-year mark soon.

Dilip Joshi shared proudly that he has been essaying the role of Jethalal for the past 12 years, and it has almost become a part of his life. For the last three months (amid lockdown), he has been missing playing Jethalal, the sets, his co-stars of Gokuldham society, and the viewers. He is waiting to resume shoots eagerly.

Taking about the safety of the cast and crew, Dilip said that his producer will be taking good care of it. Dilip added that, “I have full confidence in him that he will take good care of the team.”

However, the resuming dates of the show are not yet revealed.
