Taapsee Pannu praying Rhea “doesn’t become bitter towards the life” as she is granted bail

Rhea Chakraborty was granted bail by Bombay High Court on 7th October. Tapsee Pannu shared her views on Twitter.

Rhea Chakraborty was arrested on 8th September by the Narcotics Control Bureau on charges of organizing drugs for late actor Sushant Singh Rajput. Her bail hearing, which was deferred by weeks, took a different turn as the AIIMS report termed the actor’s death as a suicide. She was granted bail with certain clauses a month later, on 7th October. Her brother Showik’s plea was rejected. Reacting to the news of her bail. actor Tapsee Pannu shared her opinion on Twitter.

The ‘Thappad’ actor wrote, “Hope her time in jail has sufficed the egos of a lot of people out there who in the name of justice for Sushant fulfilled their personal/professional agendas. Praying she doesn’t become bitter towards the life she has ahead of her. Life is Unfair but At least it’s not over as yet.”

She had previously reacted to the news of Bombay High Court verdict which said Rhea is not part of any chain of drug dealers. This comes after NCB had accused her of being an “active member of a drug syndicate”. Tapsee Pannu wrote, “Court says no basis for such Observation! And that girls spent weeks in jail! Slow claps for the custodians of culture and warriors of justice who got trashed by the court. And our courts still know what dignity is.”
