Swara Bhasker, the actress who does not usually shy from making politically incorrect remarks, recently gave a sarcastic comment to those who laughed at her dressing sense as “conservative’ after marriage to NCP leader Fahad Ahmad.
Swara posted a meme made on her that has a picture of Fahad and Swara with Maulana Sajjad Nomani. In the picture, Swara was seen in a simple salwar-kurta, with her head covered with a dupatta. The photo was captioned ‘before-after’ and the ‘before’ picture showed the glam shot of the Swara from her acting days, implying that she had gone ‘conservative’ after getting married to the politician.
The actress gave it back to trolls as she shared the picture alongside other pictures of herself – two with Fahad – post marriage. In those pictures, she was seen in Western outfits like dresses and an off-shoulder gown. Swara wrote alongside, “I didn’t realise my wardrobe choices post marriage are a national cyber debate (bizarre!).. Here are more pics of me post marriage to give Sanghi vermin more fodder for their dung.”
