There have been many new angles have come into the picture after a 4-member-team has been sent by Bihar Police to investigate Sushant Singh Rajput’s case. Now, Sushant’s father KK Singh has released a video statement saying he had alerted Mumbai Police on 25th February saying Sushant’s life was in danger.
ANI quoted him as “On Feb 25, I informed Bandra Police that he’s in danger. He died on June 14 & I asked them to act against people named in my Feb 25 complaint. No action taken even 40 days after his death. So I filed FIR in Patna.”
Vikas Singh, Sushant’s lawyer representing his father earlier said that the family had told Bandra Police that ‘they didn’t trust’ the people surrounding Sushant. Vikas Singh quoted “What has been most distressful for the family is that what was Mumbai Police doing all this while? The family has been saying as early as 24 February 2020, when Sushant was still alive that he was surrounded by people whom they don’t trust and there could be some danger to him. And then when he died, the family says that please look into the people who were controlling him. No investigation against Rhea was started, she was given a clean chit.”
However, Mumbai police commissioner, Param Bir Singh said that the family didn’t raise any concerns when they were questioned on 16th June, 2 days after Sushant’s death. ANI quoted Param Bir Singh saying “At that moment, they didn’t raise any suspicion neither they complained about any lapse in our investigation.”
Sushant’s family has filed an FIR against Rhea Chakraborty in Bihar and the investigation has accelerated ever since. Since the FIR against Rhea Chakraborty, there have been many new sides to the case. A four-member team has been sent from Bihar Police to Mumbai for investigation. The Mumbai Police is yet onboard with the case looking out for all aspects, the Bihar Police will be investigating for the charges of theft and abetment of suicide.
