Sushant Singh Rajput’s unfortunate death has left everyone in a state of deep shock and grief. The 34-year-old actor attempted suicide at his Mumbai house. Everyone from his close relatives to his friends is finding it difficult to accept this harsh reality.
The actor’s sister, Shweta Singh Kirti, recently informed in a Facebook post that she will be flying to India on 16th June from the US. However, she is worried about being in quarantine for seven days upon her arrival in India.
She posted, “By everyone’s help…. tickets to India are confirmed. I am flying on 16th, will reach Mumbai via Delhi. Worried about 7 Day quarantine period… is there a way it can be waived off? I need to get to my family soon.”

In another post, Shweta also wrote that she was trying to stay strong and requested her followers to pray for her family. She posted, “I m sorry for not being able to respond….I am trying to stay strong…. thanks for all the condolences… it is giving me strength…. Just pray for my family”

Sushant, who was one of the most popular names in the Hindi filmdom, was said to be suffering from depression for the last six months. The actor was reportedly also getting his treatment done for the mental ailment from the Hinduja Hospital. However, the reason for the drastic step is yet not clear. He ended his life at his Bandra Carter Road apartment in Mumbai by hanging himself to the ceiling fan. He was found dead at around 12:30 in the afternoon.
Sushant made his silver-screen debut with 2013’s Kai Po Che!, he was last seen in Drive, which released was released on Netflix in November last year. His last release would be the Mukesh Chhabra-directed Dil Bechara which was supposed to get released May this year but due to COVID-19 it was postponed, now the rumors are that the movie might release in OTT platform but it’s still not confirmed.
Meanwhile, Sushant’s last rites will be conducted today in Mumbai. A few of his family members reportedly reached the city last night.
