There are ample celebs like Hrithik Roshan, Salman Khan, Farah Khan, Raveena Tandon and more who have come forward to support Aryan and his family in the ongoing drugs case. While SRK’s fans have also launched a vigil to stand by Aryan. Several legal counsels have been vocal about the case as well. The report says that late Sushant Singh’s family lawyer Vikas Singh, who had represented the case in court the previous year when Rhea Chakraborty, her brother Show and others also emerged. The lawyer aided the bigwig’s kid and pointed out loopholes in the investigation.
Advocate Singh stated, “This entire law (NDPS – Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act) is possession-based and quantity of possession becomes the sentence. If there is no possession, the question of a case does not arise unless you are a peddler or a supplier, which is the fourth category. Aryan was neither found with possession nor was he a supplier. He is at best a consumer. And calling him a consumer is also debatable because till now there is nothing found in his hair follicle. I don’t think they have even tested that. What is happening to him is unfair.”
However, during the Mumbai Court hearing a plea for bail for Aryan, Arbaaz and other accused. While the NCB has raised questions on whether a bail plea is applicable, Aryan’s and Arbaaz’s counsels have disputed that the offences under which their clients have been booked as bailable. An order from the Court is expected in the early evening of the day.
