Sushant Singh Rajput’s fans have been demanding for a CBI enquiry for his demise and so are his friends. However, his family has not made such requests yet. Sushant’s elder sister Shweta Singh Kirti has opened up regarding why the family is not asking the CBI to take the matters in their hands. She responded to a fan who was asking her to fight for the truth and probe CBI to investigate.
His sister commented, “We were waiting for Mumbai police to finish the investigation and come up with their reports.” The Mumbai Police are now looking after the case and have recorded the statements of almost 38 people, including Aditya Chopra and filmmaker Mahesh Bhatt. Dharma Productions CEO Apoorva Mehta recorded his statement today on 28th July 2020.
Even though it has been over a month since Sushant’s demise, most people have not been able to get over the tragic news. Many big names have been called out for favouritism and nepotism and for sidelining outsiders like Sushant. Sushant’s last film ‘Dil Bechara’ has received immense love and is currently streaming on Disney+Hotstar.
