Mumbai police aren’t leaving any stone unturned in the Sushant Singh Rajput’s suicide case. They have summoned over 30 people till now in this investigation. The case took an unpredictable turn when Sushant’s father KK Singh filed an FIR against Rhea Chakraborty and five others in Patna, many unknown facts about the relationship has been coming forward. The 34-year-old actor’s close friend Siddharth Pithani has been also called by the Mobile police thrice for recording a statement in a connection with this case. But there’s a new revelation which has been made by Siddharth in his email which he sent on July 28.
As per the latest reports in Mumbai Mirror, Rhea filed a petition in which she mentioned that SSR’s friend Siddharth Pithani is being pressurized to record statement against the actress. The reports have been stating, in his email, Pithani mentioned he received calls from Sushant’s relative, sister Meetu Singh, one senior Indian Police Officer and a senior Supreme Court advocate on July 22. Siddharth revealed they have been, “asking him questions regarding Rhea Chakraborty and her expenses during her stay at Mount Blanc with Sushant.”
He even received a call on July 27 from the senior officer O P Singh asking him “to give a statement against Rhea Chakraborty to Bihar Police,” the report says. Mumbai Mirror quotes Pithani’s email, “I was told I would receive a phone call, after which I received a call from an unknown WhatsApp number. But the call ended within 40 secs, and no statement was recorded. I am pressurised to comply and record statements against Rhea, the things which I am not aware of.”
Rhea’s petition to the Supreme Court also reveals that SSR’s close friend Siddharth informed her about him been receiving phone calls inquiring about her and the mail which he sent to the Mumbai Police.
