Sushant Singh Rajput’s family lawyer claims, “Family has not demanded a CBI investigation yet”

Actor Sushant Singh Rajput’s father KK Singh, had filed an FIR against the actress Rhea Chakraborty at Patna Police station. The FIR was filed on July 28. ANI, quoting the lawyer shared a tweet from their official Twitter account. The tweet stated that “FIR registered now as family was in shock & Mumbai Police wasn’t registering FIR, but forcing them to give names of big production houses & get them involved. It was heading in a different direction: Vikas Singh, Ex-Addl Solicitor General & lawyer of #SushantSinghRajput’s father.”

Further, Vikas Singh also thanked Chief Minister of Bihar. He revealed that the late actor’s family has not yet demanded a CBI enquiry in this case. ANI also stated that “ Patna Police was a little hesitant but CM Nitish Kumar & Minister Sanjay Jha explained the matter to them and FIR was registered. We want that the matter to be investigated by the Patna Police. The family has not demanded for a CBI investigation yet: Lawyer of #SushantSinghRajput’s father”.

FIR has also been registered against those people, whose names were taken up by Sushant’s father. ANI tweets “FIR has been registered. Preliminary investigation has begun. It is not correct to say at this point of time that who will be questioned. All those who were named by #SushantSinghRajput’s father in the FIR, have been booked: Vinay Tiwari, Patna (Central) City SP.”
