The veteran actor, Shekhar Suman along with Tejashwi Yadav, Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) leader held a press conference in Patna in relation to Sushant’s untimely death and demanded CBI enquiry in the case.
Kai Po Che actor Sushant Singh Rajput was found hanging in his Bnadra residence by Mumbai Police on 14th June this year. The veteran actor Shekhar Suman recently took it to social media platform, Twitter to convey his condolences and announced that he will be visiting the actor’s family in Patna, Bihar.
The veteran actor, along with Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) leader and former Deputy Chief Minister of Bihar Tejashwi Yadav conducted a press conference in Patna, raising some important concerns related to Sushant’s untimely death, demanding CBI enquiry in the case.
However, Sushant’s family has expressed its resentment over the whole press conference being a political gimmick. The family also revealed that no one from the actor’s family was informed about the event.
The family gave out a statement which read, “Everything is under investigation in Mumbai and giving media byte in Patna under the political banner is just for political mileage. Family is capable enough to demand all this and keep doing and waiting for a police investigation report, hence any kind of politics and political intervention not needed. There are already political people in the family who will take this up.”
Shekhar Suman, who previously contested elections in Bihar as a Congress leader, talked about ‘gangism’ in Bollywood in the press conference. Shekhar Suman also revealed that Sushant had changed 50 sim cards.
The family is also unhappy with actor’s friend Sandip Ssingh’s statements to the media in regard to Sushant’s death. During the presser, Sandip shared the dais with Tejashvi Yadav and Shekhar Suman, which further pissed Sushant’s family.
Now, more questions have popped up in everyone’s mind. When Sandip had already given clean chit Bollywood personalities then why did he again go to the media through Shekhar Suman? Is he somehow trying to defend big personalities of Bollywood?
Meanwhile, Mumbai police is currently investigating the case and have so far recorded the statement of 28 people connected to the case including Sushant’s Dil Bechara co-star Sanjana Sanghi, Sushant’s rumoured girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty and Yash Raj Films’ casting director Shanoo Sharma.
