After Sushant Singh Rajput’s demise, Mumbai Police called his co-star Sanjana Sanghi for recording a statement. She is supposed to make a debut in Bollywood with “Dil Bechara”, which is also Sushant’s last movie. It is based on American author John Green’s bestseller, “The Fault In Our Stars”.
While the police is investigating the Sushant’s suicide case, around 27 statements have been recorded. The actor was found hanging in his Bandra apartment. After the news broke, his heartbroken fans have been trying to figure out the reason of actor’s death. Nepotism and mental health became few of the potential reasons. The Maharashtra government is investigating allegations of professional rivalry along with his reported clinical depression.
Rhea Chakraborty, Sushant’s ex girlfriend recorded her statement last week. Mukesh Chhabra, the director of Dil Bechara and Sushant’s close friend has already recorded his statement. Earlier today, his co-star, actress Sanjana Sanghi arrived at the Bandra police station to record her statement. A video has surfaced online regarding the same.
Sanjana shared some precious moments from the sets of the movie featuring the late actor. “But these wounds also contain a film, a gift that everyone is yet to see, Wounds that contain dreams, plans, and desires for our country’s children, their education and their future that will be fulfilled, Wounds that contain a passion for an endless creative zest for every artist there is,” an excerpt of her post read.
Sushant Singh Rajput made his debut in 2013 with, “Kai Po Che” and went on to do several films, including “PK”, “Kedarnath”, “Sonchiriya” and “Chhichhore”. “Dil Bechara” is scheduled to release online on July 24 on Disney+Hotstar.
