The untimely demise of Sushant Singh Rajput has left the whole nation in shock. The actor hanged himself on June 14 at his Mumbai apartment. Even as his family, friends and fans grapple with the loss, condolence messages keep pouring in for the 34-year-old actor on social media.

Sushant Singh Rajput’s suicide has created a talk on nepotism in Bollywood. Now, people are talking about, Bollywood’s treatment of newcomers, especially those who are not star-kids and are supposedly outsiders in the industry. Maharashtra Home Minister Anil Deshmukh, on Monday, had said that the police will investigate all angles relating to Sushant’s suicide, including that of a professional rivalry brought to light by the media.

According to Pinkvilla, the Police have written to YRF asking for copies of the contract with him. Not just this, Sushant’s manager, Shruti Modi, who worked with him on Chhichhore has also been questioned by the Mumbai Police. Not just her, even the PR, Radhika Nihalani has been probed. When asked about Sushant, Shruti told the police that he was a different kind of person. She also informed the police of the various projects that Sushant was about to start, PinkVilla reports.

On being probed, Sushant’s manager Shruti revealed that the actor was all set to start several projects that were outside films. She also mentioned that Sushant was all set to start a Vivid Range Realistic Virtual that was a virtual games company. Not just this, Shruti revealed to the Police that the actor was also working on a Social service project, Nation For World. Sushant’s manager shared with the police about other interesting projects of the actor, and that included Genius and Dropout. They were programs that he was planning to make. With this, several pieces of information have been provided by Sushant’s manager to the police.

Meanwhile, statements of 13 people, including Sushant Singh Rajput’s girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty, friend Mukesh Chhabra, his father, and his three sisters were recorded. His family hasn’t made any official complaints. The provisional post-mortem report acquired by the police also didn’t reveal any foul play. The cause of death, as per the report, was asphyxiation due to hanging.

Sushant Singh Rajput’s family had come down to Mumbai from Patna to perform his last rites. The funeral went through on Jun 15 at Pawan Hans Crematorium in the presence of his family and a few close friends. The family then went back to Patna to immerse his ashes in Ganga on June 17.
