Sushant Singh Rajput‘s demise shocked his fans as well as the film industry. Mumbai Police has been working hard to find the cause behind the late actor’s extreme step. A few days ago, Sushant’s father KK Singh filed an FIR against Rhea Chakraborty and five others. After which, Bihar Police stepped in to be a part of this investigation.

The actress filed a transfer plea to move the case from Bihar to Mumbai in the Supreme Court. The first hearing held on 5th August, after which the parties were asked to file the replies within three days. A new date is now being set by the SC to hear Rhea’s petition. As per India TV News, the transfer petition filed by Rhea will be heard by the Supreme Court on 11th August, Tuesday. The petition was filed by Rhea’s lawyer in SC on 29th July.

On 7th August, Rhea and her brother Showik Chakraborty were questioned by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) for eight hours. The ED is probing a case of money laundering in the late actor’s death investigation. The 34-year-old actor’s father has made major allegations on Rhea which also includes, an overdose of medicine as well as cutting him off from his family.

Sushant’s close friend Siddharth Pithani was also asked to appear before ED on 8th August. After the FIR, Bihar IPS officer was appointed to lead the investigation. When he was ‘forcibly quarantined’ by the BMC, the Bihar Government recommended this case to the CBI. The request was accepted after a week and currently, the CBI is handling the situation. Sushant was found dead in his Bandra apartment on 14th June.
