According to the report by the Republic TV, late actor Sushant Singh Rajput’s flatmate, Siddharth Pithani, will be yet again summoned by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) for questioning. There was also a piece of news about CBI planning to put SSR’s investigation under IPC Section 302, which states that, “Punishment for murder — Whoever commits murder shall be punished with death, or 1 [imprisonment for life], and shall also be liable to fine.” Siddharth is to record his statement under Section 164 on Tuesday. The reports by Republic also state that he might be riddled by the team of CBI officials once again regarding what happened a week before the actor committed suicide.
According to Republic TV, Siddharth is in Delhi and he will be present in front of the Court from there itself. Ever since Sushant Singh Rajput committed suicide on 14th June in his Bandra residence, the movements of his flatmate, Siddharth Pithani, have had an eye of the CBI officials. In his previous statements, he said that he had to forcefully open the door of SSR’s room in order to get in.
Pithani in his earlier statements also stated that the late actor fainted when the news of Disha Salian’s death was told to him and after he regained his consciousness, he was asking for protection and was scared that he would be killed. Siddharth also claimed that SSR’s former girlfriend, Rhea Chakraborty, left with late actor’s laptop and other devices when she left the Bandra residence.
