In the recent development of Sushant Singh Rajput‘s case, CBI team landed in Mumbai on 20th August after the Supreme Court’s verdict. The team which is led by CBI’s Superintendent of Police (SP) Nupur Prasad is currently staying at DRDO guest house in Santacruz. Civic body BMC has exempted the team for quarantine, so that the investigation is not delayed.
According to CNNNews18, the CBI team will be divided into five different teams which will be beneficial for detailed investigation. The first team is assigned to examine the reports from Mumbai Police’s investigation and also forensic and autopsy report of the late actor. The second team will be focus on questioning the people close to Sushant and also the ones who were interrogated by Mumbai Police.
The third team along with Central Forensic Science Laboratory (CFSL) experts will go to Sushant’s Bandra apartment to recreate the death scene. Whereas, the fourth team will focus on questioning the neighbours and scan the CCTV footage of the building on the date of the late actor’s death i.e. 14th June. The last team will be talking to DCP Trimukhe of Mumbai Police.
The Supreme Court bench has also asked the CBI team to look up any other cases registered under Sushant’s name.
