
On 5th October, a leaked audiotape was being alleged to be of Dr Sudhir Gupta, who is a forensic expert and was working on Sushant Singh Rajput‘s death case. The audiotape has been making rounds in the various newsroom of the channels. In the audiotape, Dr Sudhir Gupta can be heard claiming that the death of the late actor is not by hanging but is a murder. AIIMS has earlier performed the autopsy on the body of the late actor and scratched off the angle of poison from the list of causes of death. After the audio made shook the people around the nation, SSR’s sister, Shweta, raised questions on Dr Sudhir Gupta.
According to a report by Republic, AIIMS has issued an official statement over the allegedly leaked audio of Dr Sudhir. The statement of AIIMS reads, “A Medical Board was constituted by Dr Sudhir K Gupta, Professor & Head, Department of Forensic Medicine & Toxicology, AIIMS, New Delhi as per request received by him from CBI for providing expert opinion in the case relating to the death of Sushant Singh Rajput. The medical board has submitted the report directly to the CBI as required. Being a legal matter, any inputs on the report submitted by the Medical Board would have to be obtained from the CBI.”
In the statement, AIIMS has pointed it out to the CBI by saying that the official reports have been submitted to the team of CBI investigating the issues.
