Sushant Singh Rajput‘s tragic death has affected his fans as well as the industry. While his fans demand justice, the late actor recently received a Certificate of Recognition from California State for his contribution and hard work in cinema. Sushant’s USA-based sister Shweta Singh Kirti took to her social media to share the certificate. She said, “On the occasion of Indian Independence Day California recognizes my brother’s (Sushant) overall contribution to society. California is with us…. are you? On 14th August, Shweta shared a video urging people of India to come together and join her in her fight to demand CBI inquiry in the late actor’s case. After the video, actors like Ankita LokhandeKangana RanautVarun Dhawan, Kriti Sanon, Mouni Roy joined the movement and demanded justice for Sushant Singh Rajput. In the video, Ankita Lokhande is seen holding a placard with ‘Justice for Sushant #CBI for SSR’ written on it and said, “The nation wants to know what happened with Sushant Singh Rajput. Justice for Sushant. CBI for SSR.”

A few days ago, Supreme Court addressed Rhea Chakraborty’s plea to transfer the case from Patna to Mumbai after Sushant’s father KK Singh filed an FIR against her. CBI, on the other hand, gave a written submission to Supreme Court saying that there isn’t any filed or pending case in Patna that needs a transfer to Mumbai. The final verdict from SC is yet to be announced. Meanwhile, Sushant’s family, friends, co-actors and people from the industry are taking to their social media to demand justice for the late actor.
