Vicky Kaushal is currently gearing up for his upcoming film Sam Bahadur. The film is highly anticipated by the audience. Vicky will be seen playing the role of India’s first field Marshal Sam Manekshaw. On the 29th of November, a special screening of the movie was held by the makers ahead of its release. Many celebrities made it to the event and gave their best wishes. Vicky’s brother Sunny Kaushal and father Sam Kaushal also watched the movie and showered immense love on the actor.
Recently, Sunny took to his Instagram account and shared a story writing, “Just when I think you’ve outdone yourself, you surprise me yet again… I know you manifested this film and now I can see why. I think this film chose you. I don’t think anybody could’ve played Sam better… you’ve given your heart and soul and everything in between to portray the life of a man which was so valiantly lived”
He further added, “I could see it in your body, in your dialogues, but most importantly I could see it in your eyes… Brother, I am so so so proud of you”
Vicky’s father and veteran action director Sham Kaushal also applauded the actor. He posted a family picture from the screening venue and a poster of Sam Bahadur movie. The director said, “Feeling so humbled, blessed & proud.” He even mentioned it as a ‘must watch’ and said, “An inspirational story of grit, determination & intelligence.”
Sam Bahadur is directed by Meghna Gulzar and written by Bhavani Iyer and Meghna. The film showcases the story of India’s first field marshal Sam Manekshaw. He played a huge role during the 19-71 India-Pakistan war. The film also features Sanya Malhotra, Neeraj Kabi, Fatima Sana Shaikh, and Govind Namdev. The film is slated to release on the 1st of December and will have a box-office clash with Ranbir Kapoor starrer Animal.
