The trailer for Phir Aayi Haseen Dillruba featuring Taapsee Pannu, Vikrant Massey, and Sunny Kaushal has generated quite a buzz online. The movie, directed by Jayprad Desai and written by Kanika Dhillon, promises to delve deeper into the lives of star- crossed lovers, Rani and Rishu.
The sequel to Haseen Dillruba introduces a new character, Abhimanyu, which is portrayed by Sunny Kaushal. He has revealed some exciting insights about his character and how it entangles in the tumultuous lives of Rani, played by Taapsee, and Rishu, played by Vikrant.
Sunny described his character, in an interview with Hindustan Times, as someone who is completely unaware of Rani and Rishu’s complicated past. He explains that Abhimanyu has been living in own life, has no family, and has given up on life until he meets Rani. It is at this point when he realizes his purpose and falls madly in love with her.
Sunny has an impressive set of performances including Mili, Gold, Bhangra Paa Le, and Shiddat.
