Stree 2 is already among the biggest hits of recent times, having written new success stories and records within the box office. The sequel to the 2018 film Stree has gone ahead to impress audiences across the country. The film stars Shraddha Kapoor, Rajkummar Rao, Pankaj Tripathi, Abhishek Banerjee, and Aparshakti Khurana. The film has been faring really well at the box office. Till August 30, the film has minted over Rs. 440 crores at the Indian box office. Shraddha, who has been mysterious right from the first part seems to have impressed everybody with her performance.
Now, in a conversation with Times Now, Shraddha’s father and actor Shakti Kapoor reacted to the massive box office success of his daughter. Andaz Apna Apna actor was visibly proud and happy looking as he shared that he is very proud of Shraddha and her talent. He wished for her continuous success and offers daily prayers to God for her to shine bright in her career.
He also added that it feels great to see Shraddha do well commercially, and that she did a great job. Upon being asked if he had any expectation from the film, he replied saying that he had estimated that Stree 2 would collect approximately Rs. 200 crore.
But it has broken all expectations and has collected more than Rs 600 crore worldwide. Shakti sounded shocked with the results of the film and praised all the actors, particularly Rajkummar Rao, whom he said was brilliant as Vicky.
