Sophia Bush is breaking her silence over her relationship with Ashley Harris, as she came out as queer and deny that she cheated on her ex husband Grant Hughes.
“As I came into myself, I already felt it was my home. I think I’ve always known that my sexuality exists on a spectrum,” said Sophia in her self- written Glamour cover story, which was released on Thursday, April 25. “Right now I think the word that best defines it is queer. I can’t say it without smiling, actually. And that feels pretty great.”
Sophia added that she has experienced so much of safety, respect, and love in the queer community, both as a members and as an ally.
Sophia was married to Grant for a little more than a year before One Tree Hill alum filed for divorce in August 2023. Following the divorce, she was romantically linked to Ashley in October, after they bonded amid their respective splits.
“It took me confronting a lot of things, what felt like countless sessions of therapy, and some prodding from loved ones, but eventually I asked Ashley to have a non friend group hand to talk about it.” She continued that they had a more than four hour long meal, which was “surreal experience” for her.
