Well, happened so, when Sonu was asked what triggered that emotion in him that he decided to help the migrants, he said, ‘ I actually feel that till you don’t go and see everything personally and whether everything is organised properly or not, whether it’s the safety masks, sanitisers, permissions are in place all of it” Actor further added that he was personally involved with each department, from talking to government authorities of different states to collecting documents.

When Sonu was asked about how much does the buses costs to send migrants home. Sonu revealed that it cost around Rs 1.8 lakh to over Rs 2 lakh depending on the migrants’ location and since social distancing majorly is to be followed, the buses aren’t filled completely which results in more number of buses being arranged.

Sonu is doing every bit that he can and as he said, ‘I will continue to do my best till the last migrant reach home’. Sonu Sood has sent over 750 migrants to their respective homes and he continues to do so.
