Actor Sonu Sood has been helping many migrant workers and daily wage earners during this COVID-19 pandemic. He has set up many modes of transport and helped them go back home amid the lockdown. Recently, Sonu has helped the Maharashtra police and showed us yet again he is a true superhero.
Sonu Sood has provided 25000 face shields for the Maharashtra police. Acknowledging and thanking this big donation, Home Minister Anil Deshmukh sent a message via his Twitter account.
Anil Deshmukh quoted “I thank @SonuSood Ji for your generous contribution of giving 25000 #FaceShields for our police personnel.

Sonu also tweeted and replied and called all the police officers his brothers and sisters and also called them the real heroes. He also added that this was the bare minimum he could do to support what they do.

Recently on Wednesday, he confirmed that he will be writing a book about the experience of helping the daily wage earners during the Coronavirus pandemic and this book will be published by Penguin books. It is also reported that Sonu will be the first guest of The Kapil Sharma Show after it took a long pause from the shoot. It is believed that he will be sharing the details of how he helped thousands of people during these tough times.
