Sonakshi Sinha and Zaheer Iqbal took the plunge in an intimate setting on Sunday, in presence of their close friends and family. They also hosted a grand reception for their industry friends. The wedding was attended by the bride’s parents – Shatrughan Sinha and Poonam Sinha – however, the absent of her brother Luv and Kussh has raised some eyebrows.
In a conversation with News18, Kussh has dismissed such reports. “I have already seen people publishing inaccurate information. It started with an article in a leading portal that had a quote by an unnamed source,” said Kussh. He added that he is unaware of where this false news is coming from, but claims that he was present at the celebration. Kussh also said that a few media houses have his images from the wedding.
He continued, “It’s just that I am a private individual and I am not seen that much but that doesn’t mean that I wasn’t there. I was present and I have only good wishes for my sister.”
Meanwhile, Sonakshi and Zaheer dated for seven years before tying the knot. Their wedding reception was attended by slew of celebrities including Salman Khan, Anil Kapoor, Kajol, Aditya Roy Kapur, Richa Chadha, Ali Fazal, Aditi Rao Hydari, Siddharth, YoYo Honey Singh, and so on.
