Mukesh Khanna recently slammed veteran actor Shatrughan Sinha for not teaching his daughter Sonakshi Sinha epics like Ramayana when she could not answer a question related to the mythology on Kaun Banega Crorepati (KBC). Recently, the actress reflected to it and said that it was indeed her upbringing that she decided to respond to his statement respectfully.

Sonakshi took to her Instagram handle to share a lengthy note addressing the Shaktimaan actor’s remarks, in an interview with Siddharth Kannan.

She began with reminding him that there were two women on KBC who sat beside her also failed to answer the same question. She penned, “Let me remind you there were two women on the hot seat that day who did not know the answer to the same, but you chose to keep taking my name, and only my name, for reasons which are quite obvious.”

She continued that she blanked out for sometime during the show, which is pretty common. However, the actress pointed out that Mukesh did not consider the same and chose to criticize her.

The Dabangg actress turned the table as she reminded the senior actor an important teaching of forgiveness, with reference to how Lord Ram forgave Manthara, Kaikeyi, and Ravan.

Sonakshi also talked about Mukesh referring to her father, Shatughan Sinha’s, upbringing and wrote, “Next time you decide to say anything about the values my father has instilled in me… please remember it’s because of those values that I have only said what I said, very respectfully.”
