Sonakshi Sinha got married to her longtime beau Zaheer Iqbal on Sunday in an intimate setting. The actress have now shared a video from her wedding, wherein the couple can seen registering their marriage in presence of their parents and close friends. The invitees at the wedding included bride’s parents, Shatrughan Sinha and Poonam Sinha, and friends such as Huma Qureshi and Siddharth.
The footage starts with Sonakshi, Zaheer, and their families and friends gathered at the balcony of the actress’ Mumbai house which is decorated with white flowers. Soon, the bride and the groom can be seen registering their marriage and the crowd erupts in unison, ‘Sona kitna sona hai’ song and customising it with the line ‘Mere jiju number 1’.
Sonakshi and Zaheer have been dating each other for seven years and have been in a live-in relationship for the past one year. Their wedding was followed by a grand reception, hosted at Bastian, Mumbai, for their industry. The star studded event was attended by some of the notable personalities of Bollywood such as Salman Khan, Anil Kapoor, Kajol, Raveena Tandon, Aditya Roy Kapur, YoYo Honey Singh, Anand L Rai, and so on.
