1. Ajay Devgn’s real name is Vishal Veeru Devgan. In the year 1991, during the launch of the movie Phool Aur Kaante Ajay Changed his name because in the contemporary time there were actors with that name who already launched.
2. Ajay Devgn’s surname isn’t Devgan anymore. Yes, you read it right. In 2009, Ajay Devgan changed his surname from ‘Devgan’ to ‘Devgn’ for some personal reason.
3. Ajay Devgn is the only Bollywood actor who has won two National Film Awards for movies like ‘Zakhm’ and the movie ‘The Legend of Bhagat Singh’. In the year 2016 he was honored with the Padma Shri, the fourth highest civilian honor of the country. The actor has also been awarded with CII Excellence Award in Cinema in October 2015.
4. Ajay Devgn is a devotee of Lord Shiva. He practices Shaivi Hinduism and noticeably wears a Rudraskh. In his movies ‘Shivaay’ and the latest one ‘Bholaa’ his inclination towards Lord Shiva is well executed.
5. Even before debut Ajay Devgn was connected with Bollywood as his father Veeru Devgan was a action film director and stuntman where as his mother, Veena Devgan was a moviemaker and producer.
