The Narcotics Control Bureau arrested actor Ajaz Khan on Wednesday, March 31st. He was detained at the Mumbai Airport on Tuesday evening and questioned for several hours before the arrest took place. A medical check-up was taken before he was presented before the Mumbai court for remand.
Ajaz Khan has now finally responded to the arrest by NCB. He said that the sleeping pills found at his house were used by his wife. He also stated that only 4 pills were found and they were being taken as antidepressants. He remarked that his wife had suffered a miscarriage
NCB’S Zonal Director Sameer Wankhade had earlier confirmed Ajaz Khan’s involvement with the Shadab Batata drug case. “We have found his involvement in the Shadab Batata case and he is facing some serious charges. His statement is being recorded at present,” he stated.
Ajaz Khan has starred in many films such as ‘Lamhaa’, ‘Allah Ke Banday’ etc. He was also a finalist on Bigg Boss season 7.
