Singer Niall Horan, would love to have Leonardo DiCaprio or his friend Allen Leech to play him in the biopic of his ex boyband ‘One Direction’.
The well-known boy band, which included Harry Styles, Louis Tomlinson, Liam Payne, and formerly, Zayn Malik is no longer together. The singer wants his buddy Allen who is 41 now, and has similarlity with him or the 48-year-old ‘Titanic’ actor Leonardo DiCaprio who also looks like him to portray him.
According to ETCanada, Niall stated,”Currently, it would be Allen Leech from ‘Downton Abbey’. I met him in a coffee shop in LA one time and we were just doing the whole, ‘We look like each other.’ Him or (Leonardo) DiCaprio. One of them.”
It comes after Allen says that Niall would portray a young Tom Branson in the historical drama if “Downton Abbey” were to ever get a spin-off. Allen also suggested, “A spin-off, or we go back in time, and Niall Horan could play young Branson; everyone keeps saying we look alike.”
At the same time, Niall most recently said that he would only be interested in taking part in a One Direction reunion if everyone was totally on board. As all the ex members are so focused on their solo endeavours. He has no idea when the members of his ex boyband will have the opportunity to be in the same room to discuss getting the band back again.
Other One Direction members like Harry Styles and Liam Payne have also achieved success as solo singers, Horan is presently concentrating on his solo career.
