Singer Bhupinder Singh dealth cause: Infection, COVID-19 or cardiac arrest?

Veteran singer Bhupinder Singh passed away at the age of 82 at 7:45 pm on Monday in Criticare hospital in Andheri, Mumbai.

Moreover, Dr. Deepak Namjoshi, director of Criticare Asia hospital, said. “Bhupinderji was admitted ten days back to our hospital. He had an infection. We had strong suspicion that he had Colon ailment and we were doing investigations. In the same time, he got COVID-19″. However, Dr. Deepak Namjoshi added. “His condition worsened on Monday morning and we had to put him on a ventilator. He got a cardiac arrest and passed away at 7:45 pm.’’

Further, the current Deputy Chief minister of Maharashtra also expressed his condolences in a tweet stating. “Sad to hear about demise of veteran playback singer Bhupinder Singh ji. With his gifted voice he gave us many memorable songs. His contribution in the field of music will be remembered forever. My deepest condolences to his family, friends & fans.”

Bhupinder Singh is known for songs like Dil Dhoondta Hai, Naam Gum Jaayega. As well as Ek Akela Is Shaher Mein, Beeti Na Beetai Raina, Huzoor Is Kadar bhi na Itra ke Chaliye. Also, Kisi Nazar Ko Tera Intezar Aaj Bhi Hai, Baadalon Se Kaat Kaat Ke among others.

Therefore, Bhupinder Singh is survived by his wife Mitali Mukherjee who states a funeral is to take place on Tuesday.
