2023 has been a spectacular year for singer Armaan Malik. In a recent interview, he revealed how the last year has been crazy personally and professionally. The previous year marks are even more special, as the actor released his new album after a nine-year-long hiatus. Armaan also proposed to his longtime girlfriend Aashna Shroff.
Armaan said that he didn’t anticipate a lot of things in 2023. He knew that he wanted to propose to Aashna, but didn’t have a month in his mind. The year 2023 spoke to him. He followed his intuition and gut feeling and that’s what marks the year even more special.
During a recent interview with Bombay Times, the singer revealed that he is looking forward to get married in 2024. He wanted to propose to Aashna by singing an original song. So initially, he told her that they were going to a sporting event. But when they reached the venue, he was standing there holding a guitar. They were in their favorite city London and accompanied by their family members. It happened most organically. His wedding will most probably happen in 2024, but the singer is unable to reveal anything at this point.
For the unversed, Armaan Malik sang the Jaadui song for Tu Jhooti Main Makaar film. Unfortunately, his version was added to the final cut. It was asked if these things bother him at all, to which the songwriter said that it used to bother him initially, but now it doesn’t as he has gotten accustomed to it. The singer states that this is how the industry works and it has hardened him. So he doesn’t attach any emotions to the songs he sings for the film. He doesn’t attach himself and just does his job that is assigned to him.
Armaan said that there are so many songs that he has sung, but which didn’t come out. He says that every song chooses the singer. If the song is destined for him, it will come to him and no one can take these things away from him.
