Sidharth Shukla’s family releases their first official statement: ‘Allow our family the privacy to grieve’

Sidharth Shukla’s family in their first official statement urged fans to respect their privacy to allow them to grieve their loss. They also thanked his fans for unconditional love and support.

On Thursday, Sidharth Shukla’s family issued their first official statement after his unfortunate death. The family in their statement began by thanking the fans for giving Sidharth unconditional love and support. They also urged fans and media to give them some privacy, stating Sidharth valued his privacy all above other things, to mourn their loss.

After the news of his untimely demise broke, The fans were in shock. When Mumbai Police pronounced Sidharth dead when he was brought to the Cooper Hospital, people imagined foul play in investigation. But the theories were dismissed once the statement that Sidharth sustained no injuries before his death.

Family in the statement gave special thanks to Mumbai Police for protecting them and being their for them at every step of investigation, by being sensitive and showing compassion.

The family also added that it’s not the end since he will always remain in the hearts of loved ones. The statement ended by the family asking fans to keep Sidharth in thoughts and prayers.

The official statement read, “Heartfelt gratitude to everyone who has been a part of Sidharth’s journey and showered him with unconditional love. It definitely doesn’t end here as he now resides in our hearts forever! Sidharth valued his privacy, hence we request you to allow our family the privacy to grieve.”

“A special Thank You to the Mumbai Police force for their sensitivity and compassion. They have been like a shield, protecting us and standing by us every minute of the day! Please keep him in your thoughts and prayers. Om Shanti -The Shukla Family,” it added.


On Sunday, Karan Johar paid an emotional tribute to the Actor though Bigg Boss OTT platform, he called him ‘Favorite Member’ of the Bigg Boss family. He also added, “This is something we are all still finding hard to believe. It is like I am numb, I can’t even breathe. Sid was a good son, a great friend and just an amazing guy to be around and be with. His positive vibe and that smile won so many millions of hearts.”
