August 29, 2024, marks the National Sports Day and on this special occasion Sidharth Malhotra posted an epic flashback with Kapoor & Sons co-star Fawad Khan. Both of them are seen on camera playing some cricket together. People reacted to the video of Sidharth and expressed their wish to see him in the new biopic of a cricketer Yuvraj Singh, which was recently announced by the makers.
He had captioned the post, “From Delhi streets to film sets, my love for cricket remains unchanged! Sports were always a big part of my life – basketball, club level rugby, football, and of course, gully cricket. They helped shape me into who I am today and built my physical and mental strength. Now, shoot breaks are just an excuse for a quick cricket fix!”
Lots of fans’ comments were awaiting on the post and they all demanded various kinds of sports to be shot. One person commented hoping that Sid should be casted in Yuvraj Singh’s biopic and another user said, “Inspiring as always!!”
Meanwhile, on the work front, as per the reports by Pinkvilla, the Shershaah actor has been in talks to star alongside Saif Ali Khan in Race 4.
