Kargil Vijay Diwas is celebrated every year on the 26th of July. This day is celebrated in memory of all those Jawans who contributed to the victory over Pakistan by sacrificing their life. The Kargil war was undoubtedly an unforgettable event in Indian history. The bravery of the Jawans, their patriotism, the war-laden atmosphere and not to forget the treacherous topography, all have been contributing factors to the collective emotion that has been penned by several writers and also depicted in so many Bollywood movies time and again.
Bollywood celebrities joined the country in remembering the martyrs of the 1999 Kargil War on its 21st anniversary.
