The reports of Saif Ali Khan making a comeback in the Race movie franchise has been making rounds on the internet. The news were first reported by Pinkvilla, citing a source, and had suggested that producer Ramesh Taurani is planning a reboot with Race 4. The report had added that the film is expected to go on floors in 2025 and the team is currently busy with locking in the script. While Saif was already reportedly keen to be the lead in the movie, the latest reports claims the makers are in advance talks with Sidharth Malhotra to come on board.
As per the reports of Pinkvilla, citing sources, it has been learnt that Sidharth has shown interest in starring alongside Saif in Race 4. “While Ramesh Taurani has got a team of in-house writers to develop the basic plot of Race 4, he has outsourced it to some of the seasoned writers and directors to develop it into a screenplay. While the writing work is on, he has initiated conversations with Sidharth Malhotra to play the leading man of Race 4 alongside Saif Ali Khan. Sid is a big fan of Race Franchise and is interested in doing the film,” said a source, as per the news portal.
