Indian actor Sidharth Malhotra, who is known for his roles in films such as Student of the Year, Ek Villain, and Shershaah, has launched Raider Six, India’s first battle royale game, at a grand event in Mumbai.
Raider Six, developed by Indian gaming company Nodding Heads Games, is a multiplayer online game that pits 100 players against each other in a shrinking map, where they have to scavenge for weapons, resources, and vehicles, and eliminate their opponents to be the last one standing.
The game is set in a fictional island called Roshanpur, which is inspired by various Indian locations and cultures. The game features diverse characters, weapons, vehicles, and modes, as well as realistic graphics and physics. The game also has a story mode that follows the backstory of the characters and the island.
Malhotra, who is also the brand ambassador of Raider Six, said that he was thrilled to be a part of the game, as he is an avid gamer himself. He said that he was impressed by the quality and creativity of the game, and that he hopes it will inspire more Indian gamers and developers to create original and innovative games.
Malhotra also revealed that he has lent his voice and likeness to one of the characters in the game, named Sid. He said that Sid is a former army officer who joins the Raider Six tournament to seek revenge for his fallen comrades. He said that he enjoyed playing and voicing Sid, and that he hopes the fans will love him too.
Raider Six is available for download on Android and iOS devices, as well as on PC and consoles. The game is free to play, but also offers in-game purchases and subscriptions. The game has already received positive reviews from critics and players alike, who have praised its gameplay, graphics, and originality.
Raider Six is expected to compete with other popular battle royale games such as PUBG Mobile, Free Fire, and Call of Duty Mobile, which have millions of players in India. Malhotra said that he believes that Raider Six will stand out from the crowd, as it offers a unique and immersive experience that celebrates India’s diversity and culture.
