Shruti Haasan is making headlines for her breakup with longtime beau Santanu Hazarika. According to reports, the Saalar actress and Santanu are no longer together and are living separately.
According to sources, a close insider to the actress revealed their split owing to personal disagreements.
The source told HT that they split up last month. Because there were personal wavelength concerns, they chose to part ways peacefully. Shruti refrained from commenting about her personal life.
Shruti and Santanu’s split made headlines after the actress deleted all of his photos from her Instagram account and announced her departure from the social media platform with a cryptic statement.
“It’s been a crazy ride, learning so much about myself and people. We should never be sorry for all the things we can be or need to be.” she wrote.
Shruti Haasan and Santanu lived in a live-in in Mumbai, and their breakup shocked fans. There was a lot of chatter about them getting married soon.
The actress is now very much active on Instagram, where she has shared multiple stories about how her younger sister Akshara Haasan is her healer at the moment and how she is utilising dance as a form of therapy to cope with stress.
Orry once referred to Shruti’s partner, Santanu, as her spouse, claiming that the actress’ management requested him to include her beau on his guest list. Speaking to TOI, he stated, “Her manager asked for Shruti Haasan and her husband to be added to the guest list.” Shruti, in her Instagram AMA session, rejected the claims.
