Shraddha Kapoor reveals nobody wanted to work with her since her debut movie had flopped

A difference can be made by one film, and this is what Shraddha Kapoor has once again shown it. The actress, who was once considered lucky to get an opportunity to work with Salman Khan in a movie is now a reigning queen of box office. Shraddha may have started off poorly at the box office but then she later featured in the movies including the major box office success.

Recently, Shraddha shared her disappointing phase of her career and even remembered that she did not even get any work after her first film debacle. She explained that even though she had a film background, everyone turned her down and she used to have to audition constantly till Mohit Suri decided to take a chance on her. “Kaafi saare auditions karne pade kyuki uss waqt aisa koi aise chahta nahi tha ki mere saath film kare. Khaas tor se agar flop film ka baggage leke aapki shuruat hui hai toh bahut kathin hota hai aapko agli film milna. Phir Mohit Suri ko pata nahi kya laga aur unhone belief dikhaya,” stated Shraddha.

After Aashiqui 2, Shraddha rose to fame and continued with other successful films like ABCD 2, Ek Villain, Haider, Baaghi, Stree, Chhichhore, and Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar.

Shraddha has created a new record on box office with her recent movie Stree 2. The horror-comedy film, which hit the theaters on Thursday, has made record collections and grossed Rs 75 crores on the first day, including paid pre-shows.
