Kiara Advani recently signed on for Farhan Akhtar’s Don 3. The actress will share screen space with Ranveer Singh in the film. The third edition of Don 3 was supposed to star Kriti Sanon or Kiara Advani. However, the latter has been confirmed to star in the action drama. According to a Bollywood Hungama rumour, Kiara was paid Rs 13 crore to star in Farhan Akhtar’s flick.
Yes, you heard it correctly!! According to media reports, Kiara Advani received the highest pay cheque in her career for Don 3. The filmmakers were pleased to offer Kiara Rs. 13 crore for the film.
“Kiara Advani has charged Rs. 13 crores to come on board Don 3. It’s the biggest that she’s charged to date, and the actress is all charged up to prep for the big-scale action scenes of Don 3,” a source informed the entertainment portal.
According to the claims, Kiara has been paid about 50% more than what she is supposedly receiving for War 2. The actress may appear alongside Hrithik Roshan and Jr NTR in Ayan Mukerji’s action film.
For those who are unaware, Farhan had picked two actresses for Don 3. Ranveer was eager to bring Kiara on board. The actor believed their off-screen friendship would transition nicely to the big screen.
Kiara Advani had expressed her desire to play the lead in Farhan Akhtar’s Don 3. The actress stated, “There will be a tough prep for the film, but I have got time to do that. I am very excited, and I have never done action sequences in a movie. Now it is my time to get some action in.”
The Don franchise began with Shah Rukh Khan and Priyanka Chopra Jonas in 2006. The sequel was released in 2011, with SRK and Priyanka repeating their roles. Don’s third film is set to be released in 2025, nearly 14 years after the second film.
