Kim Ki-bum, famously known as Key is a South Korean rapper, singer, dancer, composer, actor, fashion designer, and television host. He is a member of the South Korean pop boy group SHINee.

Recently, after undergoing a fast antigen test on Wednesday, SHINee’s Key was diagnosed with COVID-19. He has currently ceased all job activities and is recovering under quarantine.

On March 2, SHINee’s management, SM Entertainment, released a formal statement revealing that one of his members, Key had tested positive for COVID-19.

They further claimed that on March 1, he had unusual health symptoms, so he used a self-testing kit. When he tested positive in that, he immediately underwent PCR testing which confirms this morning that he is diagnosed with COVID-19.

Key has also finished two doses of the COVID-19 vaccination, according to the statement.

They stated that he has ceased all planned activities and is taking the required precautions to quarantine and get treatment in accordance with disease control authorities’ instructions.

They went on to assert the fact that they would strictly adhere to the standards and that the health and safety of our artists will take precedence and will do everything to help Key to focus on treatment and recovery.

Key recently appeared on an episode of MBC‘s I Live Alone.

On a work front, Key’s most recent music video, ‘Bad Love,’ was released last year.
