As the whole nation mourns the sudden and shocking death of Bollywood star Sushant Singh Rajput, as at the same time this death remains clueless about the reasons, much-admired filmmaker Shekhar Kapur has created waves with his mysterious tweet, targeting some people as the reason behind Sushant’s mental status.
Shekhar Kapur said that what happened to Sushant was “their” Karma and not his.
Kapur wrote in the tweet that he knew the story of those people that let Sushant down so bad that he would weep on his shoulders.
“I knew the pain you were going through. I knew the story of the people that let you down so bad that you would weep on my shoulder. I wish I was around the last 6 months. I wish you had reached out to me. What happened to you was their Karma. Not yours,” said Kapur in his indirect attack.

Shekhar Kapur and Sushant Singh Rajput were to work in their much-aspired project “Paani,” which could not be made. The announcement for the movie was made at Cannes. Sushant let go of projects like Ram Leela and Befikre to be available for Panni, but unfortunately, it got on hold.
Despite this, the two had a great bonding.
“Am as devastated as u that Paani did not get made @itsSSR but I’ve never met an actor that worked so hard in preparing for a part as you did,” Kapur had tweetd back then.

In another post for Sushant, Kapur wrote last night: “Dear Sushant, there was so much more you had to offer. Perhaps the world was not up to your beliefs.. You should not have gone like this …but then you were an old wise soul in a restless young body. Often the heavens cannot handle that.”
