In an unexpected and heartwarming turn of events, international pop star Shawn Mendes took to the streets of Mumbai with a surprise performance on his hit song ‘Senorita’. The singer, who is known for his intimate connection with his fans, decided to serenade a group of students from The Sounds Space India, a music school in the city.
A video, shared by thesoundsspaceindia on its Instagram handle, shows the Canadian star being surrounded by a small flock of fans, joined in on the chorus, their voice harmonizing with Mendes’ as they sang along to the familiar lyrics.
Shawn is currently in Mumbai for his performance at Lollapalooza music festival 2025, which is being held in the city on March 8 and 9. It will be held at the iconic Mahalakshmi Race Course in Mumbai. He is expected to perform some of his biggest hits, including Senorita, In My Blood, and Treat You Better. This shall mark his debut performance in India.
